Thank you to everyone who posted opinions in my .22 thread. I found this beauty at the gun show today and picked it up as a private sale. Buckmark Plus w/ Nickel finish.

Nice looking Buckmark! :ok: I am sure you will like it. I've got an NWTF Edition Buckmark I've had for about a year and still haven't shot it. I ordered 2 spare mags for it since it only came with one.

Nice pick up MM! I love gun threads. When someone buys a new gun, you never hear "Oh what a piece of crap", or "Why didn't you buy one of these". The beautiful thing about guns, and gun lovers is, there's no such thing as a bad purchase. The only bad purchase is the one that ISN'T made! If you happen to realize you made a mistake, add it to the collection, and move on to the next one! My next purchase will be a .22 auto as well. Let me know how it shoots. I like the Rugers as well, with the bull barrel.

I saw recently a supply of threaded bmark barrels. Not a clue what value they might be.

Huh, threaded? They don't screw on or are you talking threaded for a silencer?

Ok, range report time. I shot about 200 rounds through the Buck Mark today and 50 through my XD 9mm. The buck mark shoots like a dream. I put 150 rounds of CCI mini mags through it without a single hiccup. Shot about 50 rounds of the federal value pack with about 6 failures to fire. That was a little disapointing. I also got a range membership which cost $150 for my wife and me for the year. Members pay no lane fee which is usually $10 for the first shooter, $5 for the second so with the buckmark I'm all set to shoot at least once every week and actually afford it.

Anyway, nice purchase Mill - I've had the blued model for about 10 years now and have never had a problem with it. It has taken some ammo that wouldn't feed in a Marlin rifle and is very accurate. Enjoy!
